Hey, y’all!
I know I’ve been missing for a while, but I have a lot of irons in the fire this year, and I’m still trying to balance everything. As some of you know, Insights of a Southern Girl has now expanded to a YouTube channel (don’t worry, I’ll still post some written articles here…as a matter of fact, I already have one in mind), and editing these videos takes a good deal of my time. I recently finished one and I’d like to share it with y’all (as I always will).
If anyone’s been watching Outlander lately, I have to say that season eight has been a little…interesting. At the end of season seven, the writers introduced a somewhat new story line. They suggested that Faith—yeah, that Faith—may have lived after all, and went on to have a husband and children. Mind you, when Faith was born, she ended up being a stillbirth, and poor Claire held her deceased child in her arms the entire day before she finally—and painfully—let go.
This plot point is DUMB.

What gets me is that one of the best episodes in the Outlander series has spawned one of the worst story lines I’ve ever heard in life. So…I decided to make a video just ranting and raving about it, and you can see it below!
Y’all let me know what you think about this nonsense in the comments, or you can tell me what you think about the final season of Outlander as a whole (so far it’s okay, in my opinion…except for this Faith mess). And yeah, this post was short and sweet, but don’t worry! I’ll be back!

Peace, y’all!
